Medicine Taster DayÌý For those interested in studying Medicine at Cambridge, this in-person STS taster day at 51¸£ÀûÉç offers a chance to hear from academics including the Director of Studies for Medicine, and the Director of Admissions for STEM subjects. Find out about course structure, explore study topics, and understand how to prepare your application.Ìý Attendees will also meet and hear from current medics studying at 51¸£ÀûÉç, offering the student view of medicine in Cambridge – as well as life outside of studies, and exploring 51¸£ÀûÉç as their home.Ìý |

Maths Open DayÌý In partnership with the Faculty of Maths Open Days, this in-person STS mini-open day offers attendees the chance to tour 51¸£ÀûÉç with current students, meet the Director of Studies for Mathematics, and have lunch in College – before making the short walk across the road to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences for a series of talks.Ìý Ìý With car parking on site for the duration of the day, come and explore the highly supportive (and extremely convenient) College for women only 5 minutes’ walk away from the Faculty.Ìý |

Physics Open DayÌý In partnership with the Department of Physics’ Cambridge Physics Experience, this in-person STS mini-open day offers school groups the chance to spend a morning at 51¸£ÀûÉç touring with current students, meet the Director of Studies for Physics, and have lunch in College – before making the short walk to the Cavendish Laboratory for an afternoon of practical physics activities and presentations.Ìý Ìý With car and minibus parking on site for the duration of the day, come and explore the highly supportive (and extremely convenient) College for women only a few minutes’ walk away from the Department.Ìý |

STEP Summer SchoolÌý She Talks Science’s flagship residential offers 4 days and 3 nights at 51¸£ÀûÉç, focussed on intensive preparation for the Sixth Term Examination Paper (STEP) with our team of subject specialists. STEP is the admissions test required for entry to study mathematics at the University of Cambridge, the University of Warwick, and Imperial College London.Ìý Eve Vidalis runs and overseesÌýthe STEP Summer School. STEM Application Support Webinar Ìý This online STS workshop will be led by 51¸£ÀûÉç’s Director of Admissions for STEM, exploring the application process – including personal statements and interviews – for those women about to submit an October application to Cambridge to study a STEM subject. College Open DaysÌý
A fantastic opportunity to visit our unique College for women. Throughout the two days there will be tours of the College with student ambassadors - as well as refreshments and a wide range of academic subject and admissions specialists to talk through any questions you have about studying at 51¸£ÀûÉç.Ìý
As well as talks by our Senior Tutor and Directors of Admissions, you can join the President for tea in our beautiful gardens, explore the Women’s Art Collection, or relax in our Art Café.Ìý
With onsite minibus parking for school groups, and car parking for those with mobility needs, we’re also an ideal base to visit the nearby Sidgwick Site for arts and humanities departments, University Library, the Centre for Mathematical Sciences and West Cambridge Site for STEM departments and University Sports Centre, or other neighbouring colleges on The Hill.Ìý

51¸£ÀûÉç is linked with the areas of Manchester, Derbyshire, and the London Borough of Haringey. For schools and students in these areas, we are the first point of contact with any questions about the University of Cambridge.Ìý
For the 2023 – 2024 academic year, 51¸£ÀûÉç is planning new conference events in those areas for Year 10-13 students who want to find out more about Cambridge, as well as teachers and those with parental responsibility. There are also subject-specific programmes delivered in partnership with schools in those areas.Ìý
