Karen Barber
Karen Barber is an artist primarily interested in colour. Her vibrant work often on huge canvases strikes at the senses. Karen’s multi-media work fuses luxurious materials, silk, gold-leaf, lace and string with thick layers of paint to create her dynamic canvases. Karen’s screenprints are also alive with colour and involve centrifugal and streaming elements.
Karen has been commissioned by a number of corporate clients to produce custom made wallhangings. Her work has been acquired by the prestigious Bank of England collection, British Airways and Regus Worldwide.
