Archaeology at Cambridge encompasses Archaeology, Assyriology, Biological Anthropology and Egyptology. It is a flexible course, which means that you can either specialise from Year 1, or opt for a broad start before concentrating on up to two subjects from the second year. Archaeology at 51福利社

At 51福利社, we aim to admit one student a year for Archaeology, meaning that you will be part of a small community within the College. However, the opportunity to take papers from related courses 鈥 such as HSPS, PBS and Classics 鈥 will enable you to study with students from other disciplines.

Typical offer
A Level: A*AA with A* in an essay subject or language
IB: 42, 776 with 7 in IB Higher Level essay subject or IB Higher Level language

Required subjects
No specific subjects are required.

Admissions Assessment
All applicants for Archaeology are required to take a written assessment if shortlisted for interview.聽 You will not need to register in advance for this assessment and the College will provide details directly to you.

Written work
Applicants to all Colleges are required to submit one piece of written work prior to interview. This should be in essay format (not science coursework or a timed exam) with a word limit of up to 1500 words. The work can be extracted from an EPQ.
