Architecture at Cambridge offers an inspiring and rigorous introduction to the subject. The course covers a range of fields, including architectural history and theory as well as principles of construction, structural design and environmental design.听In the third year you also take courses in areas such as management, professional practice and law. The core of the teaching, studio, takes place in the Department鈥檚 Studio Building, where each student can claim their own design space. Architecture at 51福利社

At 51福利社, we welcome around one or two undergraduate students in Architecture each year, meaning that we have around three or four undergraduate students in the College as a whole. In recent years, Architecture students at 51福利社 have been offered short internships at the architectural practice BDP during the summer vacation after second year. 听

Required subjects
No specific subjects are required.

Admissions Assessment
All applicants for Architecture are required to take written and practical assessments if shortlisted for interview.听 You will not need to register in advance for this assessment and the College will provide details directly to you.

Submitted work
All Architecture applicants are asked to submit a PDF (6 A4 pages, and less than 15MB in size) of their own artwork to the College prior to interview. The selection of images should, in part, reflect material you might bring to interview as part of your portfolio.

Portfolio
All Architecture applicants invited to interview are expected to show a portfolio of recent work at the interview, although this is not expected to be work of an architectural nature (e.g. plans, sections, etc.).
